All of us at the shop's in Tigard and Seattle would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and yours for the Holidays. It's been another good year on rivers, streams and salt. Trout fishing was stable and at some points extremely good. On the whole, we had an exceptional year for anadramous fish. Large returns and ideal flows brought us steelhead, kings, silvers and chums and supplied many bent rods throughout the Northwest. As we settle down for the holidays and good times with friends and family, our thoughts are turning to winter steelhead on the coast, a cold sunny day with desert trout, a sunny flat at Christmas Island and some time with enthusiastic spey anglers along the banks of the Skagit at Spey Days in March. We hope the sun sets on your 2008 with great peace as well as equanimity for 2009. Best to all... |

Nautilus and Tibor have designed new reels with Spey anglers in mind. These reels are both worth a look and extremely compatible with today's emphasis on shorter and lighter 2-handers.
