For 2009 Kaufmann Streamborn has made a conscious company decision to not produce a print catalog. Instead, we are devoting those resources to our website, e-mail newsletter, and retail locations. We will continue to be available by phone (800-442-4359) for questions and information. All our staff members are dedicated, knowledgeable fly anglers and tyers who can assist you with anything you have a question about. We continue to make the commitment to having merchandise in stock and available for immediate delivery. As has always been our trade mark, we will continue to work diligently to provide you with the best possible service in the fly fishing industry.

Please go to our website (www.kman.com) for the latest news and products in the world of fly fishing. Once there, please sign up to receive our informative monthly newsletter.

Designed for freshwater and light-saltwater use, the new Galvan Spoke series complements the Galvan line of reels and provides a reel a full ounce lighter than the very-popular Rush series reels. Using a compression disc-drag, Galvan's reels are highly regarded as one of the best "bang-for-the-buck" reels in fly-fishing. Check out the full line of Galvan's here.

Brian Styskal, Washington Guide and Representative of C F Burkeimer Fly Rods, will be teaching an introductory class designed around the basics of speycasting and steelhead fishing. Brian's class will be ideal for beginning spey and steelhead anglers, as well as intermediate two-handers looking to shake off some rust. Brian's home water is the Skagit River so expect some good, solid local knowledge about the river you'll be spending a couple days in and out of.

Kaufmann Streamborn supplies anglers all over the world with Flats flies and travel arrangements in their pursuit of Bonefish each winter and spring. Some of the Bonefish hotspots we favor include: Christmas Island, Venezuela, the Bahamas, Belize, Mexico, and The Seychelles. I can't think of a much better place to be than a sunny flat when the cold damp doldrums of winter set in. Jerry has established a new section of our site for travel hounds. Click here to check out Jerry's Travel Specials! Check back often as we'll be updating this area as soon as we get word on these deals throughout the year. If you're looking for a hosted trip to a great spot, we've recently had an opening on Joel's trip to Los Roques in May. Click here for more information on Joel's trip.
